I was recently reminded the first one of this exists, and wanted to clarify: I don't expect to die anytime soon. (This might be where one of the Observers got that idea from, I realized, when I refound this). We are all of us mortal, as much as any meat is. There was a time when I faced my mortality more than most, but I am lucky enough to be past it. But... it sticks with you, you know? That idea of legacy. Of what reality will be like when it no longer includes 'you'. I think my take on Zampanio is a meditation on that? While also being a way for all of us to be remembered? Even after someone leaves the fandom they'll remember it, and because its a snake eating its own tale, if they left a Mark of any sort, those who come after, digging for secrets will find and remember them as well. Thank you. For joining all of us. I hope you're remembered. -JR p.s. the "snake eating its own tale" thing was a typo but one I stand by, and probably one I've made before. Half of the STORY of zampanio is the tale of all of us finding it and what we do with it. we are as much a part of its narrative as anything we find. its why i love all the "testimonials", theres so many different paths to it apparently people run whole ass huge tabletop rps and work zampanio into it, can you IMAGINE finding the fandom that way? the world is so big
